I am done shooting for the year...except when you get the opportunity to shoot a newborn! My cousin and his wife had this little baby girl last Sunday. She was 6 days old today...and just perfect.



What a tiny little peanut - just 6 lbs! :)

Back in June 5 graduates from my high school where killed in a horrible accident just 1 week after all 5 graduated from high school. These where all young women with hopes and dreams that where cut way too short.

A couple of months ago I was approached by the father of one of their good friends who was interested in using my "hill picture" as the back cover of his sons CD he was recording. Marcus Merriman sang these songs at graduation and then at their funerals...now he was going to record a CD of these songs and donate the money raised to charities that have been set up to honor these 5 amazing women.

I was honored to have been asked, and didn't think twice about donating this picture. If you look closely, the cloud in the upper left corner is shaped like an angel. That is what they call these 5 women, Fairport's Angel's. They where all taken from us way too soon.

I am so thankful that I could help in some small way.

THANK YOU ALL FOR AN AWESOME 2007!!!   I am done shooting for the year, but am very excited to announce that in January I will be releasing an updated web site and blog with a whole new look! 

I will announce an official release day after the first of the year, but check back to see when the official day will be!    You never know, you might see one of your families pictures on my new site! 

I will begin scheduling photo shoots for 2008 with the release of my new site in January.  So if you are interested in scheduling a shoot in 2008, please contact me and I will get you on the waiting list to officially schedule your photo shoot after the first of the year.

My home studio is up and I will be accepting appointments for photo shoots starting in January for anyone that is interested.    

Thank you to ALL of you for making 2007 such a success.   I am truly humbled by all of it.

Sleeping Baby

I just finished processing this shoot that I had from before Thanksgiving last night, and I swear, I just love shooting newborns.   This baby slept, smiled, and cried a bit, but I just love his faces in all of the different pictures.   Here are two more of my favorites -

Holiday Card Season is HERE!

It is holiday card time, and I have been very busy creating custom made holiday cards for a ton of clients.   If you had a shoot in 2007, and would like a custom made holiday card created from one of your pictures, e-mail me to start creating your card. 

I don't want to spoil the thrill for any of the friends and families of clients that I have already created cards for this year, but you can check out some of the cards I have made in the past here.

Last Shoot

I finished my last official shoot of 2008 on Sunday, and I am so glad I finished up the year with this awesome family.  I can't tell you how many times I laughed at these kids while I was photographing them.    Their property was amazing too!   Thank you to all of you for sharing your morning with me.    I had a blast!   

Studio Work

I had two photo shoots in my home today with my studio set up, and both of the babies where troopers!   They where actually cousins, but the parents wanted pictures with each of them and then we tried to get one of them together.    This was the second time I had done a photo shoot with the little girl, who was 9 months old this time around.  The little baby boy was 12 weeks and a little peanut! 

Here are a few sneak peaks!

This is actually a tea cup pot that they sold at Walmart this last summer that was the big prop in the photographer communities.   This is the first time I have really played with it, and this baby reacted so well to it!   This shot just cracked me up!

The mother was actually holding this little guy in this shot, but you wouldn't know it!

My first real "Christmas" shot of the year, but I thought he was the perfect subject!

Here is a sneak peak for the shoot I had this past Saturday with this beautiful little 5 month old baby.  It was a bit chilly out, but we where able to get outside for a couple of shots.

fall...

I am still working on fall shoots and finished one last night that was just filled with too many awesome fall colors not to share!   It is one of the BEST parts about living in upstate NY!   

New Look!

I am very excited to announce that I am in the process of updating my look for 2008!   Soon you will see a totally updated web site filled with tons of new pictures from 2007 along with a new fun look!   

I can't wait to show it off to all of you!!
