Christy,
Best of luck to you as you continue your journey. I too am a young mother who had breast cancer! I have two small children like you. I am proud to say HAD because last year at the age of 36, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer but now, after a long year, I was proud to participate in the "Making Strides" walk and wear my pink survivor shirt! Stay strong. Tough girls beat cancer. The newspaper article showed how beautiful you are without hair!!!
Best of luck,
Chris

Chris -
Thank you so much for your well wishes! I love to hear such great success stories from women that battled cancer successfully! I am determined to be able to say the same thing as you next summer! I am so proud of all of us who have fought cancer and won!
Thank you, Survivor Chris!

Christy,
What a surprise to see your beautiful photo in the paper yesterday. We have lost contact with you since you left Kodak, and were not aware of the wonderful work you are doing. This is a favorite cause of ours (Sue's sister-in-law Andrea is survivor), and we have made a donation on your webpage. We also both know your crew member Ruth pretty well. What a tremendous, positive job of getting the message out and raising money.
Thanks.

Christy, you are a great role model and I will always use you as an example of how to make the best of a tough situation. From the Physical Graffiti trip, wig shopping, head shaving to more serious endevors- walking in the local breast cancer walk and fund raising for our May walk, you have done a great job of keeping the focus on the good that we can do. Keep up the good work!
PS.... I vote that you use red highlights in your hair when it grows back. It is very becoming on you!

Christy,
Just wanted to let you know how proud I personally am of you with the cards that have been delt to our family. Watching my father go through what he did and you still remaining positive to keep yourself going, was very admirable. You must have been so frightened to watch first hand what that disease can choose to do to someone if it has the opportunity but you came out on top; and you WILL continue too. I look up to you and your strength and just wanted to say keep going you are an inspiration to many!
LOve you cousin Dina

You are an inspiration to me and others. I just got my fist of 8 chemos yesterday. I'm feeling good today, and have high expectations for each day to come. Thanks for having this sight. Good luck everyone.

Christy, You are an amazing woman - I walked in the spring after having family members struggle with breast cancer and at first decided not to walk again this year due to how hard I believed it was to do the marathon and a half. By October, another family member and neighbor were both diagnosed and I realized walking any amount does not even compare to the experiences of those affected by this terrible disease. I of course, decided it was more important to fight for a cure and have joined yet again a team of ladies that is growing strong. I individually raised almost 6 thousand dollars last year and I hope to again this year but our team of 10 last year has increased to 24 people and growing so we are truly hoping to make a difference in this fight! I will be honored and I look forward to meeting and walking with you in the spring in DC! Best of luck over the next few months in your recoveries - stay strong! Again, you are an amazing woman! Regards, Liz

Ladies you make me very proud! From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank you for all the love and support you have given my big sister! When people would ask the question, who is your hero? I had no idea how to answer or who to say. From the day my sister called me with the news that she had breast cancer, the answer became crystal clear to me - it is Christy. She is my rock, and I am so proud of her and all of you for taking this journey with her. I so wish I could be there to cheer you all on. Have a wonderful time!
Very truly,
Jackie Rayburn (Nunn)
